Black Nylon. the best way is to lower the blower motor and remove, the motor is under the dash on the pass/side theres three bolts that hold it in, remove the connection then the screw bolts and down it goes, it no hard to do it will take you maybe 1/2 hour, there may be a cover covering the motor also just remove that also if theres one.
